It’s been a year of firsts at Emil Dale Academy. Since moving into our new home at the multi-million pound campus, full-time course applications have increased by an incredible 70%.
That’s what makes this year so remarkable. Despite not increasing numbers on any courses, demand for places soared - and the volume of auditions, admin, communication and coordination reached a level we’ve never seen before.
At the centre of it all were Kate and Laura, our admissions team, quietly, consistently, and professionally keeping it all moving.
Kate and Laura have led a demanding year with empathy, efficiency and a deep understanding of what we’re looking for in a student. With more auditions to process than ever before, their work has been relentless but never rushed. Every applicant has been met with the same attention to detail, regardless of outcome. Every question answered. Every form processed. Every audition scheduled with care.
"You might fall in love with the place when you arrive," Laura says, "but how you're treated along the way shapes your whole experience."
It’s a principle that has guided this year's admissions process from start to finish.
