The audition fee for all courses is £40 and is non-refundable. This is a one-off fee payable upon applying and covers the cost of the workshops and panel auditions, as well as any recall auditions if required.
Emil Dale Academy is dedicated to widening participation within the industry and has set up an Audition Fee Waiver Scheme to encourage applications from talented candidates who are deterred from applying by financial barriers.

We also run free (fully funded) outreach masterclasses in theatres around the UK and Ireland — including Wales, Scotland and Manchester — so you can experience our training close to home, before applying.

Looking for something exciting and inspiring to do this Easter?
Join Emil Dale Part Time for three action-packed days of Musical Theatre training, creativity and performance. Our Easter School is a fantastic opportunity for young performers aged 5–18 to spend their school holidays developing their skills, meeting like-minded young people and experiencing training in a professional Musical Theatre environment.
Across the three days, students will work with experienced Emil Dale faculty and industry professionals, exploring the key disciplines of Musical Theatre through a combination of practical classes, workshops and masterclasses.
Whether your child is already training regularly or is completely new to Musical Theatre, our Easter School welcomes performers of all experience levels.
Students will spend each day immersed in Musical Theatre, with training designed to develop both performance skills and confidence.
The Easter School will include:

From start to finish, students will be encouraged to try new things, work collaboratively and challenge themselves in a positive and supportive environment.
The focus is on making the most of three intensive days — building skills, developing confidence and having fun along the way.
Students will work alongside others who share their love of Musical Theatre, creating new friendships and memories whilst being challenged by experienced teachers and industry professionals.
By the end of the Easter School, every student will have something new to take away — whether that's greater confidence, improved technique, new performance skills or simply a renewed love of Musical Theatre.
