Emil Dale Academy were proud to welcome a record number of agents, casting directors, and industry professionals to their 3rd Year BA (Hons) Musical Theatre London Showcase, held this week at The Bloomsbury Theatre in central London.
The showcase offered each graduating BA student the opportunity to sing solo, perform in ensemble production numbers, and present duologue scenes developed through focused sessions with a team of directors, choreographers and musical directors. The showcase featured songs from a wide range of musicals, including Cabaret, & Juliet, Bonnie & Clyde, Footloose, and a selection from the Disney catalogue, highlighting the versatility and individuality of the cohort.
David Bridges, Creative Associate at Emil Dale Academy, shared, “The response from the industry has been incredible, and it was encouraging to see so many respected professionals taking such a keen interest in our students.”
Following their recent London Agent Panel Day and full-scale production of Carrie: The Musical, many of our graduating students have already received multiple agent offers, with further interest continuing to build after the showcase at The Bloomsbury Theatre. These early outcomes reflect not only the calibre of the work our students are presenting, but also the strength of the connections Emil Dale Academy continues to foster within the industry.
Thank you to all those who joined us at The Bloomsbury, and congratulations to our graduating students on their final production with us, delivering a truly memorable showcase.
