Not Throwing Away His Shot: Emil Dale Alum Leads Hamilton West End.

A huge congratulations to Aharon Rayner, an Emil Dale Academy alumnus, who last night stepped into the iconic lead role of Alexander Hamilton in the West End production of Hamilton at the Victoria Palace Theatre.

Taking on a part written and made famous by Lin-Manuel Miranda is no small feat, and Aharon’s performance marks a milestone moment in what is already shaping up to be an exceptional career.

Aharon is currently a standby for several leading roles in Hamilton, including Alexander Hamilton, John Laurens/Philip Hamilton, and Hercules Mulligan/James Madison. His debut in the title role cements his place among the most exciting emerging talents in UK musical theatre.

“We’ve followed Aharon’s journey with real admiration,” said Emil Dale, Founder of Emil Dale Academy. “He’s a true example of versatility and tenacity, hopping from one high-profile production to the next, earning his stripes, building trust, and now stepping into one of the most significant roles in musical theatre. We’re so proud of him.”

Aharon’s CV already includes a string of impressive credits. Most recently, he was in the Original West End Cast of Mean Girls at the Savoy Theatre, covering both Kevin G and Mr Duvall. He also starred in the UK premiere of Bronco Billy the Musical, playing Joe Eagle and covering the title role, and originated the role of Hassan in Great British Bake Off: The Musical, both at the Noel Coward Theatre and in its earlier run.

Other highlights include Miss Saigon at the Sheffield Crucible, where he understudied the lead role of Chris, and Billie The Kid at the Vaudeville Theatre. He’s also worked at the iconic National Theatre in their production of ‘Hex’.

Aharon’s journey is a powerful reminder of the depth of talent that continues to emerge from Emil Dale Academy. His debut as Hamilton is a moment celebrated by everyone who’s followed his story so far.

We can’t wait to support and to see where he undoubtedly heads next.
