Emil Dale Academy is proud to celebrate its strong and valued partnerships with North Hertfordshire College and the University of Bedfordshire, whose guidance, expertise and shared commitment to excellence play a vital role in shaping the Academy’s training environment.
These partnerships provide a solid academic framework that supports Emil Dale Academy’s industry-focused approach to musical theatre training. Working collaboratively, the Academy and its partners strive to create a positive and supportive culture; one that values high standards, clear structure and the wellbeing and development of both students and staff. This shared ethos allows all institutions to work together towards outstanding outcomes, not only in academic achievement but across the entire student and staff-body experience.
Through validation by North Hertfordshire College, Emil Dale Academy delivers the BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Practice (Musical Theatre) as a two-year, full-time course. This programme combines rigorous vocational training with a nationally recognised qualification, ensuring students are supported by strong academic systems while developing the practical skills required for further higher-education training or diving straight into professional work.
In partnership with the University of Bedfordshire, Emil Dale Academy also offers full-time BA (Hons) Degree and Cert HE programmes. This collaboration allows students to professionally train within a creative, industry-led environment whilst benefiting from the academic standards, quality assurance and progression opportunities of higher education.
