Emil trained in Musical Theatre at Arts Educational School in London and started his career as a member of the Nation Youth Theatre and The National Youth Music Theatre of Great Britain. He has appeared in: Hanging Around (National Theatre); St Vetus’ Project (Sadler’s Wells); Fly Floor at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Sondheim 75th Birthday Celebration at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.

Victoria has been a freelance dance artist and teacher for 8 years.
Victoria performed work at The Place by Stephen Petronio, Kerry Nicholls, Siobhan Davies, Trisha Brown, Richard Alston, Yan De Shynkle, Merce Cunningham and Adam Benjamin with CandoCo.
Victoria currently works for two award winning dance companies. Credits include devising and performing the dance task instruction videos on Big Brother 9 and 10 with a live appearance on Big Brother’s Little Brother, Cultural Olympiad Project London Olympics (National Tour), Resolutions (The Place), Touch Wood (The Place), Tangled Feet Theatre Company, choreographed for The Pink Singers (O2 Arena), Pyramid Award Winners Ceremony (Circus Space), Pulse Fringe Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Cloud Dance Festival, Bloomsbury Festival, The Love Pet Aerial Dance, Westlife International Tour Projection Video, Feeder International Tour Projection Video, Laban Connects (Royal Festival Hall) and various flash mobs and site specific projects across the country.
Victoria has taught freelance over the years for Royal Academy of Dance, Cambridge University, North Hertfordshire College, Kensington and Chelsea College.
Business and Strategy
Sarah has worked for EDSA from the beginning, and is proud to be part of a great team and company.
Sarah works for Emil Dale Academy full-time, having had a career in project management. She also took a year out to live in Canada to learn to ski and work in a spa.
Sarah has been involved in theatrical productions since an early age, starting at school and participating in local theatre groups both on and off stage.
At University Sarah was part of the committee that ran the drama society, focusing heavily on technical theatre and directing. Sarah was co-Director for “Sweet Charity” and was the lighting designer for the production. Sarah is very proud to have directed the University’s 24 Hour Musical, “Little Shop of Horrors” that raised over £4000 for charity. She also directed “A Sound of Musicals”, a charity showcase event raising £2000. Sarah was also lighting designer and technical assistant for “Beautiful Thing” by Jonathan Harvey, that was picked alongside twelve other productions from across the UK to go to the National Student Drama Festival in Scarborough.

Kerry Ellis has fast become recognised as the First Lady of West End musicals from her starring roles in London and on Broadway.
Kerry’s first major CD release was the amazing Wicked in Rock, which is still flying high in the Dress Circle’s bestseller list. Wicked in Rock was in collaboration with long time friend and Queen guitarist, Brian May. This led to her being signed to Universal as a solo recording artist and her debut album Anthems was released in 2010 on Decca Records.
The success of the album, which reached no.15 in the UK album chart, and no.10 in the UK pop club charts (for Defying Gravity), led to a major tour, “Anthems: The Concert” throughout 2011.
She has performed internationally promoting the album including performances at the Royal Variety Performance, at the Laurence Olivier Awards, duetting with Barry Manilow on BBC Television and Radio, at G.A.Y., on Loose Women, Alan Titchmarsh Show, BBC Breakfast, at the Henley Festival alongside John Barrowman, at the Queen’s Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace and most recently a run of An Audience with Kerry Ellis at the Shaw Theatre.
Other performances include singing the National Anthem for the FA Cup match at Wembley Stadium, a sold out tour of Champions of Rock in Sweden, and playing Svetlana to critical acclaim in Chess at the Royal Albert Hall opposite Idina Menzel and Josh Groban, which was released on DVD and CD and screened on US network television, Thank You For The Music the BBC Radio 2 ABBA concert in Hyde Park, night of 1000 Voices, The Festival of Remembrance (both Royal Albert Hall) and she headlined the BBC Proms in the Park 2010.

Neil Rutherford is an international director, casting director, writer, author & composer.
Neil spent 15 successful years working in the West End. He gave up performing in 2000 and joined the English National Opera Production Department.
In 2002 he joined the Ambassador Theatre Group as Production Associate and Head of Casting. Neil recently returned from Australia where he premiered his own production following a revival of South Pacific at the Sydney Opera House.
Davina Dewrance has been a resident teacher at Emil Dale for the past 10 years. She has appeared in several commercials most recently staring in Macdonalds Flat White and Jackpot Joy for Loose Women and most recently she has filmed an episode in BBC Not Going Out. With her experience of doing commercial acting along with a play at the Soho Theatre and a feature film ‘Fit’, Davina brings a wealth of knowledge to Emil Dale every weekend.
Daniel trained at Mountview Academy Of Theatre Arts.
He can currently be found touring the UK with the vocal group ‘The Jersey Quartet’ and will be playing Aladdin this Christmas at The King’s Theatre, alongside Boyzone’s Shane Lynch!

Deputy Head of Music at Arts Educational School London
Timothy Evans was born in Auckland, New Zealand and completed a piano performance degree with First Class Honours in 1996 at the University of Auckland where he studied with Bryan Sayer. During his time at university Timothy won many awards including the National Performing Arts Competition Society Award in Wellington, an inaugural Faculty of Music Masters/Honours Scholarship and the Anne Bellam Scholarship.

Timothy also won the Royal Over-Seas League/New Zealand Scholarship which gave him the opportunity to spend a month studying in London during which time he also gave three solo recitals.
This visit led to a further period of study in London with eminent English pianist Philip Fowke.
Timothy moved to London in September 2004 after being appointed the Deputy Head of Music at the Arts Educational Schools, London.
Since leaving Arts Educational in July 2007, Timothy has been involved in the West End productions of Gone With The Wind, Marguerite, Mary Poppins, Chicago, Legally Blonde and Love Never Dies as well as the U.K. tours of Legally Blonde and Oliver.
Timothy has been musical director for Jonathan Ansell (formerly of G4), Lee Mead, Rhydian Roberts and Faryl Smith and he has been musical director for Hayley Westenra since the beginning of 2009.
He has toured the U.K. with Hayley four times as well as accompanying her on tours of Japan, Taiwan, China and New Zealand.
Timothy is very interested in training the next generation of musical theatre performers and was the co-founder of New Zealand’s first annual Musical Theatre Summer School in 2003.
Timothy continues to work at Arts Educational and has also worked at Mountview and Guildford School of Acting.

Phil is enjoying a diverse career, spanning more than 20 years so far, during which his varied talents have kept him in demand as a keyboard player and programmer, musical director and conductor, accompanist and repetiteur, recording producer, composer and arranger.
Phil has enjoyed conducting some of the biggest and most famous works of musical theatre. Amongst these are Evita, Jerry Springer - The Opera, Les Miserables and The Phantom of the Opera, including a Royal Gala performance of the latter in front of Her Majesty The Queen and the HRH The Duke of Edinburgh to celebrate the reopening of the restored Liverpool Empire Theatre. He has conducted in the West End, and on tour both in the U.K. and overseas.
Currently, he is an Associate Conductor on Billy Elliot and We Will Rock You, both in London's West End. In addition to working extensively in musical theatre for companies such as Cameron Macintosh Ltd., Really Useful Group and Working Title, he has played for household names, including Sir Cliff Richard and Elaine Page OBE and with well known orchestras, such as the Bournemouth Symphony.
Phil has recorded for various labels, written music for TV and for children and set-up his own recording studio (Sirius B) which is suitable for solo artist and singer-songwriter recording.

Tom completed a music degree at Manchester University in 2001.

After his degree, Tom went on to become the Musical Director for prestigious cruise ship fleet, Windstar. He then went on to become resident pianist at the largest log cabin restaurant in Lapland, for a Christmas Season with Canterbury Travel.
To the X Factor and Newlyweds, Tom Gearing has an enviable reputation. An exceptional player and fine musical director, Tom works regularly on the function circuit, in theatre and for live and recorded TV performances.
Tom has continued to build an impressive CV which extends to include live performances for Westlife, Louise (Eternal), Journey South, Simon Webbe (Blue) and Rhianna, plus sessions as a rehearsal/audition pianist for various West End Castings, including Grease and The Rocky Horror Show.
Tom has also been a rehearsal/casting pianist for The National Theatre. His good looks and personable nature, coupled with his varied experience and repertoire, makes Tom an ideal Musical Director and Teacher for EDSA!

After graduating, Arran performed in the UK Tour of High School Rocks.
Arran was a semi-finalist on Britains Got Talent 2013, with the all male dance troupe The "Glambassadors".
Arran appeared in the UK Tour of Pop Factor and has recently finished pantomime in Canterbury with Gareth Gates!
Arran holds workshops all over the country and has choreographed over 20 different shows in the last 3 years.
Originally from Indiana, Brandon trained at the Boston Conservatory. He's had a variety of success on stage and in TV and film. He performed extensively with the Milwaukee Ballet and the Nashville Ballet, and is currently played Tito in Motown the Musical at the Shaftesbury Theatre.

Show director & choreographer Gareth Walker has made his mark on the world of dance.
 This year he worked for LOCOG on the 2012 closing ceremony for the London Olympics and Paralympics where he was the Associate Director and also directed and choreographed the sell out Steps tour.
Gareth has used his experience and years of studying to develop his distinctive style, and experiment with a variety of genres. Trained in musical theatre as an actor, singer & dancer, it soon became apparent that dance was to become his passion, he graduated from the London Studio Centre with distinction.
Gareth began his professional career when he was cast in the original West End cast of Saturday Night Fever, playing and understudying all of the lead roles. After two years in the West End, Gareth started traveling Europe on tour as a backing dancer for chart topping acts including Pink, Take That, Emma Bunton and Will Young. He performed at some of the countries most prestigious events such as Royal Variety Show, and appeared on TV programmes SMTV, CD:UK, Stars In Their Eyes & Top Of the Pops.
Gareth’s experience led to him becoming one of the UK’s top choreographers. His path started when he was invited to assist Kim Gavin on “Take That’s “The Ultimate Tour,” “Beautiful World” and the “Circus” Tours. From there he was in huge demand and went on to choreograph countless shows including The Brit Awards, Toyota’s World Trade Shows, Trevor Sorbie, and L’Oreal’s 50thAnniversary Celebrations. He was requested to choreograph many artist’s tours including as both Anastacia and The Nolan’s UK & European tours. Gareth’s success and reputation keeps growing as does the demand for him. He show directed Mika’s stadium tour and in 2009 he directed and choreographed the sell out “Here Come The Girls starring Lulu, Anastacia and Chaka Khan. Other Here Come The Girls tours followed featuring the above artists as well as Gloria Gaynor and Heather Small.
Gareth’s choreography has since been seen on the majority of dance performances on major UK TV shows, including: “So You Think You Can Dance” (BBC1), “Don’t Stop Believing” (Channel 5), “The Royal Variety Show” (BBC1), Take That’s Brit Award performance 2011, “Sing If You Can”(ITV) and many more.
Born and raised in Uganda, East Africa until the age of 12, Wolfgang then moved to London, England where his family felt there would be greater opportunity and prospects in such a fast growing world. With his first love being basketball Wolfgang was set to move to America at the age of 18 to play for a state Division 3 college, however when plans fell through he continued his education in London and attended Brunel University where he graduated with a 2.1 in Multimedia Technology Design.
It’s also at Brunel where Wolfgang discovered his love for dance, with the aid and influence of some incredible people such as his dance partner Ashley Simon, they both formed the dynamic duo Parallel who became semi-finalists on Sky television’s first season of Got to Dance.
Since graduating Wolfgang has taken dance to a professional level and has had the pleasure of performing with some incredible artists namely Rihanna, Stooshe and Rita Ora. With the aid of his degree Wolfgang also has a passion for film/ short concept video making in which he uses to promote his work.
Sarah Middleton is a young British Actor from Derby. She began acting locally at the age of 6 and has performed as a member of YMT:UK and the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. She trained at Birmingham School of Acting from 2008-11. Sarah appeared as a finalist on Andrew Lloyd Webber's search for a Dorothy, but since then has been focusing on a career in Acting. Sarah made her first appearance as Beany in 'Toast' (2010).

Molly McGibbon graduated from Creative Academy in 2015 and since graduating has worked with industry professionals, credits include, Years & Years, Pride London, Make Up Revolution, UEFA, KH Hair, Schwarzkopf, The British hair awards 2016 & 2017, The Stage and Rhiannon Bruce contemporary company. Molly has experience performing live and also behind the camera, TV, film, worldwide web and stage.
Robyn graduated with a 1st class BA Hons in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre from The Urdang Academy in 2018 and signed with London Talent agency Belfield & Ward. Since then Robyn has played the leading role of Campbell in Bring It On at The Southwark Playhouse. Robyn joined the West End transfer of Trevor Nunn’s Fiddler On The Roof from February 2019. She was most recently in the ensemble for the workshop of Stiles & Drew’s ‘Identical The Musical’ based on The Parent Trap.
Joseph trained for a PGDip in Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music, having previously gained a BA(Hons) in Music from Bristol University.
Joseph was delighted to be asked to be a soloist for the BBC Performing Arts Fund Chorus at Stephen Sondheim’s 80th Birthday Prom at the Royal Albert Hall, which was broadcast live on BBC 2 and Radio 3 in July 2010.
Upon graduating, Joseph joined the cast of The Phantom of the Opera in 2010 which marked his West End debut, and enjoyed 2 years with the company. He had the privilege of being a part of the show’s 25th anniversary celebration at the Royal Albert Hall in 2011, which has since been released on CD and DVD.
Joseph has performed on some of the worlds largest cruise liners, from the Mediterranean to China, as a headlining guest entertainer with the male vocal group Viva Voce, part of Veritas Entertainment.
Emily trained at Corraine Collins Dance Studios, before gaining a scholarship to Bird College. Since graduating, Emily has been working in Musical Theatre all over the world and has assisted many prolific choreographers such as Andrew Wright, Adam Cooper and Alistair David. She teaches at various vocational colleges and enjoys to spread the love of dance.

Two summer runs at Oxford University with the prestigious Oxford Shakespeare Company – performing in Twelfth Night and Love’s Labour’s Lost.
Touring Macbeth; in Italy with the Erasmus Theatre Company - using Shakespeare's stories to inspire children who do not speak English.
Performing Shakespeare for many theatres and festivals - including the Greenwich Playhouse, the original Rose Bankside theatre, and on UK tours.

Three community-based productions for the Hertford Theatre. This involved working on pieces which aimed to make acting and theatre accessible to all parts of the community. As well as performing, I mentored young community actors as they worked on character and stage technique for the first time.

Pantomime:
Ensemble in Bob Eaton’s Dick Whittington (Belgrade Theatre Productions); ensemble in Bob Eaton’s Aladdin (Belgrade Theatre Productions) and ensemble and cover Cinderella in Chris Nelson’s Cinderella At Aylesbury Waterside Theatre (First Family Entertainment).
His other stage appearances include dancer in Coventry’s Our Town Story (Belgrade Theatre Productions) and dancer/demonstrator in Katie Morea’s ISTD Advanced One Modern Demonstrator (ISTD).

Kelly has also made several television appearances. He was the Medal Ceremony Presenter in Keith Hughes’ Grandstand (BBC2); dancer in David Leighton’s BRIT Awards (2012); ensemble in Hamilton (ITV’s Olivier Awards, 2018) and ITV’s Royal Variety Performance (2018).

She has also worked in various other projects including commercial and recordings. She appeared as a skater in a 2015 H&M Christmas, as well as a skater/dancer in a 2017 Buffalo Is How We Roll commercial.

Miriam-Teak Lee is from North London and trained at Arts Educational Schools London and The Morgan Aslanoff School
She is currently JULIET in the Original London Cast of & Juliet (Shaftesbury Theatre) for which she received Best Actress in a Musical at the WhatsOnStage Awards 2020 and was nominated in the same category for an Olivier Award 2020
Previously she was in the original London cast of Hamilton (Victoria Palace) after making her professional debut in On the Town (Regents Park Open Air Theatre) for which she received Best Actress in a Musical at the inaugural Stage Debut Awards 2017
She also performed in LMTO’s Christmas Carol (Lyceum Theatre) and was a soloist at The Ljubljana Music Festival in Slovenia with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra.
