PURPLE (15+)

THE PURPLE TEAM

The Purple team really picks up the pace and training demands high standards and a more professional approach.

(15+) 2:30pm-6:00pm every Sunday. You must arrive 15 mins prior to the start of your class.

THE TEAMS AT EDSA

Although we stream members in age groups, we do make exceptions if a member demonstrates ability beyond their team.

WE ALWAYS PUT MEMBERS IN TEAMS TO PUSH THEM!

Members will take classes in jazz, performance technique, acting, contemporary, singing, audition technique, commercial and work on a wide variety of ensemble repertoire from many different styles of musicals, old and new.

Members will get the opportunity to work with guest teachers and choreographers from the west end and UK tours, and will have the opportunity to gain some insight into the world of professional theatre.

Sessions are each Sunday during term time, with additional rehearsals in the period leading up to their two main performances (SHOWCASE in April and SUMMER MUSICAL in July).

Entrance to EDSA is by an audition workshop held at various times during the year, but members may, by prior arrangement, come along at other times for a trial/assessment session, subject to places being available, at other times.

Members who have a serious interest in pursuing a career in the performing arts may audition for the Professional Development Programme for entry in Year 10!
