Emil Dale School of Performing Arts was founded in 2009, with 100 flyers, 22 part time students and a small rented primary school hall in Hitchin. This grew within a few years to a full-time provision, Emil Dale Academy, where there was a need for genuine (not just in a prospectus), all-round triple threat musical theatre training, with high contact hours, realistic year groups sizes, and where student experience would be at the forefront of everything.
From its inception, the courses at Emil Dale Academt would only offer all-round triple threat musical theatre training, with no other courses in any other disciplines. Every student on every Emil Dale Academy full-time course would get a private weekly singing lesson for all three terms of the year. The Academy would concentrate on going above and beyond in everything they do and now the results really do speak for themselves.
Today, Emil Dale Academy trains people from all over the world, with incredible student progression and are recognised as a new, progressive, inclusive, and outstanding training institution with one focus: all round training.
