ACTING COMPANY

The study of the craft of acting is first and foremost a study of humankind. The work of the actor is to reveal the potential of the human spirit and the realities of the human situation.

Acting Company is an additional acting session that is available in both Junior and Senior companies, and is offered to our Emil Dale Weekend School Hitchin members following a successful audition. Sessions take place every Sunday outside of regular Emil Dale Weekend School Hitchin hours as follows:

Acting Company Junior - 13:30-14:25
Acting Company Senior - 13:30-14:25

Acting Company sessions exists to enable members to gain an advanced understanding and ability as professional actors, as well as allowing them to explore their creative possibilities as artists both for stage and screen. The course is built around the principles of an ensemble, and the belief that actors will develop most successfully in a group with a communal work-ethic and mutual respect for one-another.

• You must pay in advance for this class which requires a termly commitment.
• The classes are designed for people who want to be pushed and are prepared to take constructive feedback without attitude.
