Jazz Teacher (Part-time)
Emil Dale Academy is a full-time professional musical theatre Academy based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. We are fast becoming the UK's number one choice for training specialising in MUSICAL THEATRE, BA HONS DEGREE COURSE, 2 YEAR & 1 YEAR GAP / FOUNDATION courses in the country. We are seeking teachers who are passionate about musical theatre and extreme triple threat musical theatre training. You will be teaching beginners to advanced ages 16 -25 years old for the industry.

We offer extensive contact hours, small class sizes and don't rip students and families off!
Our success rates are incredible and our fees are low. We are old school training with a more current curriculum and teaching faculty.
WHERE: Emil Dale Academy, 30 minute direct train ride from Kings Cross London. Emil Dale Studios, 60 Wilbury Way, Hitchin, SG4 0TA. We pay travel.
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Dynamic Jazz teacher to teach Musical Theatre students - ideally must have an interest in the Musical Theatre industry.
Candidates must be flexible with their approach to teaching jazz and work with the internal team on the best way to deliver dance within a Musical Theatre sphere.
Some students will not be 'dancers' and classes are streamed in ability.
This position requires an exceptional teacher and choreographer with the ability to bring exceedingly talented students to West End standards.
EMPLOYMENT: Sept - July during term time only
HOURS: Typically 10am-6pm (1-3 days a week during school term time). Roughly 24 weeks a year
PAY: Excellent rates of pay for the right candidates (based on experience).
DANCE CLASSES: Generally 5 x 1.25 hour classes a day.
You MUST be available and fully commit to our set teaching days weekly.
Excellent knowledge of musical theatre and the industry.
You must have experience in teaching professionally.
Must have professional credit(s) such as West End, UK tour or training at top colleges
